Affiliation is the process by which we “register” with Devon County FA, allowing us to enter teams in the Affiliated Football League and Cup competitions. It involves us telling Devon FA which teams we will be running, which County Cups and leagues we will be entering, as well as the key officers and team officials involved in running our club.

As an Affiliated Club we are required to have a Club Welfare Officer with DBS Enhanced FA CRC Check. In addition, they must have attended a Safeguarding Workshop and a Welfare Officer Workshop.

At the beginning of the Football Season we collect the Affiliation Fee from each team member and this money is used by Devon FA to run the Affiliation activities (e.g. organising the league matches).
