Under 12s 6-a-side Football Tournament

Hatherleigh Youth AFC are running a six-a-side tournament for sides in the Under 12s age group in the 2024/2025 football season.

Competition format

Up to 16 teams will take part, in two groups, playing each team in the group once. This is a slight change to the format originally advertised, but one which will mean more games for all the teams in the tournament.

The top four teams in each group will progress to a three-stage Cup knockout competition. The bottom four teams in each group will progress to a three-stage Plate knockout competition. All teams will play at least one knockout match.

Trophies will be presented to the winning teams in each competition, along with individual medals for all finalists.

Tournament timings

Arrive from 8.45am onwards, with a Coaches Briefing at 10.15am and the first games kicking off at 10.30am. We expect the Cup and Plate finals and third-place playoffs to kick off around 2.20pm.

How to enter

FA Respect Guidelines

All players, coaches and spectators will be required to adhere to the FA Respect Guidelines. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the tournament immediately.

Parking

Parking will be available at the football club at a cost of £3 (card and cash payments accepted). Parking spaces are limited, so wherever possible, we ask that players and spectators car share to both help the planet and ease congestion.

Food, bar & toilets

Hot and cold food will be available at the tournament (card and cash payments accepted), as will toilet facilities. The bar will open at 11.30am and will serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
